Argentina, at the foot of the Andes, 1982. An Anglo-Argentine family sees how a whole country prepares for the war about to break out against the United Kingdom. All things British become the enemy. Judy, the young 55-year-old grandmother, has last-stage cancer that she decides to keep secret. Her days are numbered for saying goodbye to the world and passing on memories, conveying the language and the "weapons" that will accompany her granddaughter Bárbara in the future. That future from which Judy will be absent.
