RTVE has maintained a very close relationship with the cinema since its origins. As well as broadcasting it, RTVE backs cinema by financing films, documentaries and TV movies. The productions delivered by what’s known as the dream factory have always had their space on the small screen, on which its big brother has always prolonged the life of its feature films. In keeping with this special relationship, RTVE participates in the San Sebastian Festival, a cinematic event enjoying national and international prestige of which it has been the official sponsor since 2005 and to which it gives widespread coverage. The opening and closing galas, the Donostia Awards and everything that happens at the Festival is profusely reported in its TV and radio channels, as well as in its digital space. Furthermore, RTVE takes series and films of its own or shared production to the Festival and presents them at a special gala, for which an entire day is set aside. It completes its participation in the San Sebastian Festival with presentation of the “Otra Mirada” Award, created by RTVE to encourage films on themes related to the world of women. RTVE and cinema, ALWAYS hand in hand.

Founded 1811, Perrier-Jouët is one of Épernay’s oldest and most highly respected Maisons. Uncompromising standards have been its distinguishing feature since the outset, to the extent that in its more than two centuries of history it has only had eight Chefs de Caves, holders of unique knowledge and expertise who have served as the guardians of that ancient knowledge in order to perpetuate and cultivate such precious heritage; modelling, chiselling and sculpting each of its creations with the precision of an artisan
The elegance of Perrier-Jouët extends beyond the champagne itself and is also a strong part of its iconic image, thanks to the famous spiral of anemones crowned in gold, designed in 1902 by the prestigious artist Émile Gallé – leading light of the Art Nouveau movement – to decorate one of its bottles and which would eventually impregnate the entire brand.
Its inspiration for art and the delicate and charming floral style of the French Maison means that, since 2013, it shines like yet another star in each of San Sebastian Festival’s most emblematic spaces and moments, as its Official Champagne.
The prestigious Perrier-Jouët brand has been the Official Champagne of the San Sebastian Festival since 2013.
