PROTECTED RIGHTS

The FESTIVAL commercialises its tickets exclusively; it is therefore absolutely forbidden for unauthorised third parties to proceed with their resale, commercialisation and/or distribution in any way and/or by any means, including, but not limited to: gifts as part of sales promotions, fund collecting campaigns, draws or any other kind of commercial promotions. Said exclusivity, and the exclusivity held by the FESTIVAL with regard to all of its brands, logos, anagrams, products and activities, is protected by the laws and by the provisions contained in the laws on industrial property, intellectual property, brands and advertising, as well as by the international treaties regulating such subjects, and, especially, copyright. The FESTIVAL reserves the right to take the appropriate legal action against persons or bodies contravening said prohibition, in order to defend its rights and public image.

• PRESALES
  

  The following tickets will go on sale before the staggered sale:

  • The sessions at the Velodrome.
  • The Culinary Zinema sessions that include a thematic dinner related to the screening.
  • The Opening, Closing and Donostia Award Ceremonies.

  Once the presale for the Galas and the Velodrome is sold out, tickets will go on sale on the same day of the screening (see the section “SALES ON THE DAY”).

• SALES PHASES
  On the 14, 15 and 16, tickets will go on sale online and at the Zinemaldi Plaza ticket desks as follows:
  • September 14, from 9:00 a.m.: tickets for September 19, 20 and 21.
  • September 15, from 9:00 a.m.: tickets for September 22, 23, 24, and remaining tickets from the previous days.
  • September 16, from 9:00 a.m.: tickets for September 25, 26, 27 and remaining tickets from the previous days.
  From September 17, tickets will go on sale for all of the Festival dates, both online and at the Zinemaldi ticket desks.
  
  Tickets will go on sale at all other cinemas on September 19.

• SALES ON THE DAY
  Tickets for the same day of a screening (including K1 Galas) can be purchased according to availability:
  • Online: from 08:00 a.m.
  • Ticket offices: during their opening times.

• Every day, a limited number of tickets could also go on sale for different screenings, both online and at the ticket offices.

• All seats at the San Sebastian Festival are numbered, except for the Velodrome and the sessions in Tabakalera's hall.

• Purchases are limited to a maximum of 4 tickets per screening.

  25% discount: on 10 or more tickets booked in a single purchase.
  • Only applicable to tickets priced €8.75.
  • Cannot be combined with any other offer.

• KUTXABANK "GAZTE" CARD
  Purchases with this card will benefit from 50% discount on the price of each ticket
  • Only applicable to tickets priced €8.75.
  • Cannot be combined with any other offer.
  • Screenings in Basque and screenings with Basque subtitles that are offered at a regular price will cost ONE (1) EURO, except for sessions held at the Kursaal and in venues with unnumbered seating.

• DONOSTIA KULTURA CARD
  Presenting this card gives its holder the right to a 10% discount.

• GAZTETXARTELA CARD
  Presenting this card gives its holder the right to a 10% discount.

Also, every day the Festival will offer tickets with a 50% discount to those subscribing to the mailing list, where they will receive a daily update on tickets availability.

GALAS: No discounts will apply to gala screenings, except when the ticket is purchased solely for the film.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

• Entry to the cinemas is not permitted once a screening has started.

• Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable unless a film has been cancelled or changes have been made to the programme by the San Sebastian Festival. In this case you can ask for a refund or exchange your ticket either at the ticket office of the cinema where the film was scheduled to show or at the Zinemaldi Plaza Ticket Office.
