Iberseries and Platino Industry announce the projects selected for their Co-Production Forum in collaboration with the San Sebastian Festival
The ten films selected for the Platino Industry-SSIFF Co-Production Forum are projects from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Mexico
Iberseries & Platino Industry have announced the ten movies selected to participate in the Platino Industry Co-Production Forum in collaboration with the San Sebastian Festival, one of the new features of the event’s second edition, to run from September 27-30 at the Matadero Madrid, once again with the support of Madrid City Council and Community.
Amor, sexo y lágrimas, Argentina; Antártica, Chile, Spain and Argentina; Aquí hay dragones, Mexico and Colombia; Bajo el mismo sol, Dominican Republic; El Reino, Colombia and France; Evasión, Chile, Brazil and Spain; La balada del fénix, Mexico; Se queman de la misma forma (They Burn in the Same Way), Argentina; Una semana en Madrid, Argentina and Spain, and Veterano, Mexico, will participate in the Platino Industry-SSIFF Co-Production Forum.
In addition, Bajo el mismo sol and Se queman de la misma forma will screen both at Iberseries & Platino Industry and at the San Sebastian Festival.
Companies participating in the Co-Production and Series Funding Forum
Another of the major new features of Iberseries & Platino Industry 2022 is the first Co-production and Series Funding Forum, with the participation of Apus Animación y Contenido (Peru), Caballo Films (Spain), Coral Cine (Uruguay), El Estudio (Spain), Gato Grande Producciones (Mexico), Mondo TV (Spain), Onza (Spain), Storylab (Argentina), Zebra Producciones-Grupo iZen (Spain) and Zolking (USA), which will bring the projects of series at an advanced production stage looking for co-production and/or co-financing.
The project heads will have the opportunity to find international production, creative, financial partners and sales agents accredited at the event. They can also present their projects to members of the industry at one-to-one sessions and will have a personalised agenda of meetings with professionals interested in their projects.
The most outstanding Ibero-American project at the Co-Production and Series Funding Forum will participate at the next edition of the Latin American market for audiovisual content Ventana Sur (Buenos Aires, November 28-December 2) in its SoloSerieS section, result of the agreement between both events and announced during the last edition of the Marché du Film at the Festival de Cannes.
