Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
The first feature film from Matías Mosteirin (Buenos Aires) as a producer, Bolivia (Adrian Caetano, Made in Spanish Award), received the Young Critics Award at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes. He has collaborated with the producer Lita Stantic on the executive production of titles including Mundo Grúa (Crane World, Pablo Trapero, 1999), La ciénaga (The Swamp, Lucrecia Martel, Perlak, 2001), La niña santa (The Holy Girl, Lucrecia Martel), and Un oso rojo (Red Bear, Adrián Caetano, Made in Spanish, 2002).
As the director of K&S Films, he has produced Días de pesca (Gone Fishing, Carlos Sorín, Official Selection, 2012), Los Marziano (Ana Katz, Official Selection, 2011), El último Elvis (The Last Elvis, Armando Bo, Horizontes Award 2012), Séptimo (7th Floor, Patxi Amezcua, 2013), Relatos salvajes (Wild Tales, Damián Szifron, Perlak, Audience Award for Best European Film, 2014), nominated for the Academy Award and Goya for Best Ibero-American Film, El clan (The Clan, Pablo Trapero, 2015), Golden Lion for Best Director in Venice and Goya for Best Ibero-American Film, La cordillera (The Summit, Santiago Mitre, Donostia Award Special Screening, 2017), Acusada (The Accused, Gonzalo Tobal, 2018), El Ángel (Luis Ortega, Perlak, 2018), El Pepe (El Pepe, A Supreme Life, Emir Kusturica, 2018), and La odisea de los giles (Heroic Losers, Sebastián Borensztein, Official Selection – Special Screening, 2019). He is also the co-producer of titles including Cien años de perdón (To Steal From a Thief, Daniel Calparsoro, 2016) and Mientras dure la guerra (While at War, Alejandro Amenábar, Official Selection, 2019).
He recently executive produced Marcelo Piñeyro’s series El Reino (The Realm, 2021), for Netflix. In 2021 he received the prestigious Platinum Konex for his career.
