Nerea Kortabitarte (San Sebastian) has a Degree in Information Sciences from the University of the Basque Country. She set out on her professional career at the microphones of the Cadena SER and later worked for the Informativos Telecinco news programme. In 2002 she was Head of Communication for the Donostia/San Sebastian Strategic Plan. She has been Head of Communication at the Fnac (2005-2021) and currently runs her own communications agency specialising in the cultural sector, working as head of press at festivals including Dock of the Bay and the Crossover Series Festival, among others.
In 2019 she published the tale for children, Juliette, chica valiente, followed by the second, Juliette y un planeta llamado Tierra in November 2020. She closed the trilogy in May 2022 with ¡Vive la diferencia, Juliette!
She regularly collaborates in Radio San Sebastián’s Hoy por Hoy radio talk show.
