Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
After his degree in visual communication, he started working on developing and producing documentaries in Italy and UK. He took over as head of Kino Produzioni in 2012, since then Kino is working to develop a new generation of emerging talents and is often coproducing with international companies. His latest productions by were presented at A-List film festivals. Among those Carla Simòn’s Alcarràs (Made in Spain), winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlinale 2022, Michele Vannucci’s DELTA premiered in Locarno Piazza Grande and SOLE by Carlo Sironi, awarded as Best First Feature at the European Film Awards 2020.
He is regularly teaching film production and holding lectures on international co-production and project development for different Film Commissions, Funds and Festivals. He is currently tutor producer at the TFL initiative Alps Film Lab a workshop to improve the coproduction from France and Italy since the development stage. He has also been consulting projects at First Cut Lab, Full Circle Lab, Margenes and other regional development initiatives and teaches production at the Anica Academy funded by Rai, Netflix, Paramount and Vision among others.
Since this year he is Head of Studies of the brand new Green Film Lab about sustainability in film production.
