Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Aistė Diržiūtė (Vilkaviškis, Lithuania.1991) is a Lithuanian actress, best known for her role as Auste in Sangailes vasara (The Summer of Sangaile, Alante Kavaite; 2015), premiered at Sundance Festival, where it won the award for Best Director. She was the first Lithuanian actress to be named as one of the European Shooting Stars. In 2015 she finished her acting studies at the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy and, following the success of Sangailes vasara, continued to work on both Lithuanian and international sets. Her latest work was in the blockbuster Men in Black: International (F. Gary Gray, 2019). Last year she hosted the European Film Awards in Berlin. She has been a jury member at festivals including Tallinn Black Nights and Listapad in Minsk. She is currently working on her first feature film script about the Lithuanian artist Marija Terese Rozanskaite. She is also a famous feminist, activist and fighter for LGBTQ+ equal rights.
