Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).

Jean-Pierre Rehm studied Modern Literature and Philosophy at the École Normale Supérieure. A former professor of the History and Theory of Art and Film at various art schools, he has also worked for the French Ministry of Culture. He has curated exhibitions in the Cairo Museum of Modern Art, Yokohama Art Centre in Japan, Witte de With in Rotterdam and the La Caixa Foundation in Barcelona, among others. He regularly writes for various media and has written exhibition catalogues, monographic works on filmmakers and artists (Roee Rosen, Tsaï Ming-liang, Mark Lewis, William Eggleston, Jimmie Durham, Peter Friedl, Jacques Rozier, Isidore Isou, etc.) and art and film reviews for publications including Cahiers du Cinéma, Cinéma and Trafic. He has been the Director of the Marseille International Film Festival (FIDMarseille) since 2001.
