Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).

Sofía Gala Castiglione has worked on more than twenty films ranging from animation to comedy, passing through drama and genre cinema on the way. She started her career in 2007 under the orders of director Eliseo Subiela with the film El resultado del amor (The Effect of Love), earning her the Best Actress award at the Huelva Ibero-American Festival and Argentina’s Condor award for Best New Actress. In 2015 she shot Alanis, by Anahí Berneri, in which she plays a prostitute who is evicted from her house, where she receives her clients and lives with her son. The film won her the Silver Shell for Best Actress at the San Sebastian Festival, Best Actress at the Guadalajara and Havana Festivals and Argentina’s Silver Condor for Best Actress. She was also nominated for the Fénix and Platino awards. In theatre she has worked with directors including Fernando Peña, Alejandro Tantanian, Lia Jelin and José María Muscari, among others, and in television and streaming platforms with Adrián Caetano, Daniel Burman and Daniel Barone.
