Featuring stunning surfing sequences from Bali, Angourie, Kirra, Oahu, Maui and elsewhere, the film has been universally acclaimed as perhaps the greatest surfing film ever made. But it is much more than that. Morning of the Earth was made to show the beauty of the ocean and surfing. To capture the spirit of surfers in nature. Falzon began to concentrate on the surfers themselves, travelling to their farms along the coastline, capturing aspects of their daily life, the harmony with nature that extends from those moments when they are riding the waves to the way they order their life on land.
