International competition for first or second feature films by a male or female director; not yet released and recently produced.
All films in the New Directors Section compete for the Kutxa-New Directors Award, carrying €50,000 for the director and distributor of the film in Spain.
The Kutxa-New Directors Award is sponsored by Kutxabank, an official Festival partner.
The Kutxa-New Directors Award is responsible for assessing the films and deciding the winner.
Film submision
To submit a film, you must be registered, and accept the general rules of participation.
