Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
If there is one particular personal and special voice in the Basque music scene, it has to be that of Anari, born in 1970 in Azkoitia.
Anari has participated since a very young age in very different projects and groups. She took her first step as a solo artist with the record Anari in 1996. Later came Habiak, Zebra, and her latest CD to date, Irla izan.
Right from the very beginning, Anari has prompted warmth in audiences and critics alike, giving numerous concerts in different places in recent years.
Over her career, she has worked with various musicians and groups, including Fermin Muguruza, Lisabo, Ruper Odorika, Inoren Ero Ni and Petti, and authors, like Bernardo Atxaga and Iñigo Aranbarri.
Further, always closely related to the world of music, she is a founder and member of the Bidehuts collective. Anari is deeply involved, along with Lisabo and Inoren Ero Ni, in this interesting project dedicated to production and creation that has become a reference in the Basque Country.
