Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Born in 1981, she was an actress in Olivier Assayas’ films Fin août, début septembre (Late August, Early September, 1998) and Les Destinées sentimentales (2000). She was a student at the Conservatoire Municipal d’Art Dramatique in Paris from 2001 and in 2003 started writing film reviews for Cahiers du cinéma, to which she contributed until 2005 while filming several shorts: Après mûre reflexion (2003), Un pur esprit (2004), Offre spéciale (2005) and Laisse passer l’été (2005).
In 2007 she made her directorial debut, Tout est pardonné, selected for the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight and winner of the Louis Delluc Award for Best Film. Her next movie, Le Père de mes enfants (Father of My Children, 2009), won the Special Award from the Un Certain Regard section at the Festival de Cannes. Un amour de jeunesse (Goodbye First Love, 2011), her third film, won a Special Mention from the Jury at the Locarno Festival.
