Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).

The most heavily attended performances are at the Velodrome. With an enormous 400 m² screen, and a film theatre fitted out for an audience of 3,000 people with the very latest screening and sound systems, including the spectacular feature of the 3D screening system.
The Velodrome is also the venue for one of the most popular screenings at the Festival, which is held on the last day of the competition with the Closing Gala, the film that will be closing the Official Section, and the closing session for Zabaltegi-Pearls.
Children also have the chance to enjoy the screenings that have been prepared just for them each morning thanks to the programme arranged with local schools.
