The British film Wild Bill is actor Dexter Fletcher’s debut behind the camera and he stressed how delighted he was that an international audience was going to get to see it after it was screened yesterday in the Zabaltegi section. When asked about whether there was a Guy Ritchie influence in Wild Bill,he said that he thought it tackled much bigger subjects and issues and dealt with its characters in a more real way than Ritchie usually did in his films. He also said they had made a really big effort to ensure the film was authentic and not a caricature and that’s why Charlie Creed had always been his first choice for the leading role.
