Tralas luces is a documentary shot by the Galician director, Sandra Sánchez, that portrays the rather melancholic nomadic life of a dodgem car operator as she travels from one fairground to the next. The director has a long career behind her in TV documentaries but this is her first feature film.She shot more than 200 hours of footage which took her a year and a half to edit down. “Professionally, this project has really made me grow, but it has definitely been more important on a personal level. It has been an unforgettable experience to have been able to enter a world so far-removed from your own and see the world through other people’s eyes.”
