Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Born in 1973. He is the programmer of the Jeonju International Film Festival in South Korea, one of the most renowned film festivals in Asia, where he has worked for the last 7 years.
He studied Physics at Seoul National University and then Film Theory at Korea National University of Arts. Since receiving a prize in 2001 with a critical essay titled Hour of the Wolf: An Ontology of Evil in Cinema, he has contributed to books, Korean film magazines and newspapers, and co-edited the books on Carl Dreyer, Roberto Rossellini and Pedro Costa.
He is also one of the contributing editors of F, a Korean art magazine.
