Rompecabezas is the first fea-ture that Argentine filmmaker Natalia Smirnoff has directed. It’s about a fifty-year-old woman who discovers she has a real talent for doing puzzles. The director says that she can’t understand why they don’t ma-ke more films with women who are this age. “I really believe in the wisdom you acquire at this time; I think it’s a beautiful age. Your fifties are a period of change, of crisis and also of fresh possibilities, when you can move towards doing so-mething different.”
