Jara, 35, is a shy and lonely security guard at a supermarket in Montevideo. He?s in charge of monitoring the surveillance cameras. But things change when Jara accidentally discovers Julia, a cleaning woman aged 25. Although at first Jara simply watches her through the cameras, he soon starts following her after work when she goes to the cinema, to the beach or even on a date with another man. One day, rumour spreads of an upcoming cutback on personnel. When Julia gets fired, Jara finds himself at a crossroads; he has to decide whether to give up his obsession or confront it.
