Director Javier Fesser latest film Camino tells the story of an eleven-year-old girl who is facing a serious illness against a background of religious fervour. He had been trying to think out this story for a long time. “The starting point for this film is the need to understand. I’m really interested in the experiences of people who see life differently. His latest film, which deals with feelings and the possibility of passing away happily and peacefully, has two basic elements : the health of the body and the soul.
Fesser thinks that the film doesn’t criticise anything as it gives everyone the opportunity to defend and set out what they think. “The film hasn’t been made to provide a diagnosis, but to offer an in-depth vision of events", the director points out.
