Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).

Italian film critic born in Venice in 1958, a city in which he studied and graduated in Literature, Art History and Cinema. As a journalist and film critic, he has written many articles for the cultural pages of various newspapers and magazines, including Corriere della Sera, Manifesto and Ciak. He has worked as a journalist, author and director for some of the most prestigious European TV networks: Arte, 3Sat/ZDF, Tele+ and Sky Italy, for which he has shot many reports on film, among other cultural topics.
In 1999 he directed a documentary about the city of Berlin, Berlino: il grande vuoto, presented at Turin Festival and at Docupolis in Barcelona.
Vincenzo Bugno has collaborated as an advisor and curator with several European festivals: Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin/Berlinale, Festival Internazionale del Film Locarno, International Thessaloniki Film Festival and the Trieste Film Festival/Alpe Adria.
A promoter among others of the Berlinale/World Cinema Fund, for the last year he has been working as co-manager of this body set up by the Berlinale in co-operation with the German Federal Cultural Foundation to back film production in transforming countries, particularly focussing on Latin America, Near and Middle East and Central Asia. The objective of the foundation is to aid the making of films that otherwise would never have existed, in addition to fostering their distribution in German film theatres.
He is also the Berlinale-Delegate for Italy.
