Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Denis W. DeLaRoca. Born in El Salvador and living in Los Angeles, California. Studies in Computer Science and Latin American Film History. Works in film journalism, film programming, film promotion and small magazine publishing. In the 80's, member Documentary Selection Committee and Programming Delegate for Latin America for the Los Angeles International Film Exposition -- FILMEX. In the 80's and 90's, Programming Delegate for the US for the International Film Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Habana, Cuba. In 1990, Programming Delegate for the US for the International San Sebastian Film Festival. In 1993, Curator of Chicano and Latino Film and Video Retrospective for the International San Sebastian Film Festival. Since mid 80's, Programming Consultant on Latin American Cinema for various film festivals and cinematheques: San Francisco Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, Guadalajara International Mexican Cinema Muestra, University of California Los Angeles Film and Television Archives, University of California Berkeley Pacific Film Archives, French Cinematheque and others. Presently, Programming Delegate for Latin America for the Palm Springs International Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, the Seattle International Film Festival, Member of the Selection Committee of the Biarritz Festival of Latin American Cinemas and Cultures as well as Honorary Board Member of the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.
