Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
A French filmmaker and producer, from 1993 to 2002 he was Director General manager of the Forum des Images. Since May this year he has been General Manager of Arte France Cinéma and manager of the Cinema Unit for Arte France. He is the driving force behind the company Arts Étonnants for which he has created, produced and conceived various cultural events such as the exhibition "Les Arts Étonnants" (Chaillot 1992), "Le Bal Moderne" (from 1993 to 2000), "Dark/Noir" (Avignon 1993, Paris 1994) and "Le Goût du Noir" (Paris 1998 and 2001). Through his own independent company, Mélange, founded in the year 2000, he has produced: "Michael Hanecke: making of Code Inconnu", by Yves Montmayeur, "HPG, mon vit mon oeuvre", by HPG, for Canal+ and "L'éveil du Quetzal", a Cuban documentary by Bertrand Fèvre for television. For cinema he has produced: Intimisto, a short film by Licia Eminenti, La pleureuse, by Liu Bing Jian, (China), Polissons et Galipettes, by Michel Reilhac and 7 jours et 7 nuits, by Joël Cano, Cuba. As a director he has made three films: Tous les mêmes, 1998, Être un homme aujourd'hui, 1998 and Les Îles du Kenya, 2000.
