Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Although born in San Sebastián, she has been living for some time in Rotterdam (Holland). Her music training, as a cellist and composer, brought her an interest in the world of film music, from where she progressed effortlessly into screenwriting. Her first collaboration was with José Ángel Rebolledo in Lluvia de otoño (1988). Since then she has written with Agustí Villaronga the script of 99.9, that of Extrañas for Imanol Uribe, and that of Antonio Aloy's short Señores de Gardenia, starring Marisa Paredes and Simón Andreu. An author of tales which she is presently putting together in book form, she recently directed the short Carol no te dispares and is currently preparing a second one while toying with the idea of directing a feature film.
