In a tightly linked agricultural community, two 11 year old twins live a happy childhood. Hollan, who was born first, controls NIles, who is the one that eventually always ends up paying for his brother's tricks. One day, their father dies accidentally, and, from then on, strange and tragic events begin to take place. Their grandmother, of Russian origin, has teught the children a mysterious game, a magic form of evasion.
