Réb, Makay and Nikita are friends. In the summer of 1968 they decide to leave Hundary for good. However, only Makay has a passport and Réb's girl Maria. Réb solves the problem in his way: he obtains Makay's passport by trickery, glues his own picture into it, and together with Maria leaves the country. Nikita brings Makay the bad news but there is nothing he can do about it.
Eighteen years have passed. After working as disc-jockey for some years, Makay is now editor of one radio programme, a very popular chap. Nikita runs a boutique and is rolling in money. Menatime Maria has repatriated, as she had enough of the "American Way of Life".
