The central theme of the film is the game of power/submission in which we all find ourselves immersed. Eduardo must learn a trade in which Beto and Pepe are "specialists". Both work under the orders of Mr. Galíndez, whom neither knows personally. The work is violent but it is considered "public service", and they carry it out with the mystique that it requires. We all know that torturers are among us, but we deny the elements of a hidden fascism that we all carry within.
