Max, who is forty years old, lives in a house in the suburbs. He arrives in Brussels, a city that he does not love, since he does not know. He wanders aimlessly through the streets of the city and has successive encounters with various characters. he first meets Luis, an old work friend; then he hooks up with Alice, a servant girl with dreams of becoming an actress; and Abel, a Moroccan who drives tracks. Relationships are established between these four beings, which in one way or another, end up ending badly. Our "hero" does not come out of the adventure intact.
