Wladyslaw Goralewicz, who was in his days the strongest man in the world, is now an old man who narrates the most outstanding events of his life. He recalls his appointments with fashionable ladies, the parties of "La Belle Epoque", his work, his friends and, last but not least, a tenor who, fascinated by the beauty with which he performed his art, starts singing an aria for the athlete.
