Synopsis
Director

The president of a Latin American republic receives the news in France of the rise of a general. He precipitates and stifles the rebellion A photographer takes pictures of the massacre. The president returns to Paris where these photos have been published. World war breaks out and it regains peace of mind ... until a new rebellion starts that brings him back to the country. He stifles the revolt and confiscate the "red" books. The end of the war causes consternation to the president. New riots occur and the US ambassador forces him to resign. He leaves the country taking jewelry and money.
