Antton Merikaetxebarria (Bilbao, 1944) is a Biscayan filmmaker. In 1972 he made his first short film: Oldarren zurrumurruak. Then followed by Barrio Rekalde Betolaza (1974), Arrantzale (1975) and Euskal Santutegi sakona (1976).
