A writer returns to Spain, after ten years of absence. He remembers a previous love relationship, hoping to rediscover his past. That previously frustrated love appears on the scene. The woman leaves, trying in vain to find him, since she is told that she had died ten years ago. The rival of the writer initiates the conquest of the woman, before whose fact the jealousy tortures him.
