Having escaped from remand home, juvenile delinquent El Jaibo rejoins his fellow urchins in a Mexican skid row. El Jaibo attempts to rob the blind Don Carmelo along with another member of the gang, Pedro, the same boy whom, days later, witnesses El Jaibo killing the boy who was supposedly responsible for his having been sent to a remand home, tragically interlinking the two boys' destinies in the doing.A group of juvenile delinquents live a violent and crime-filled life in the festering slums of Mexico City, and the morals of young Pedro are gradually corrupted and destroyed by the others.
