Lieb Vaterland magst ruhig sein / Dear Fatherland Be at Peace
Based on the novel by Johannes Mario Simmel, is the story of a man with a criminal past, who receives the job of passing from East Germany and of introducing himself in the underworld of west Berlin. Bruno K., as the agents is called, wants to stop being persecuted and to start in a new place in the world in a new life with the woman he loves. For that he must kidnap to East berlin the head of the organisation which dedicates itself to helping fugitives accross the wall. But his friend Mietzi, for love of him flings herself into an adventure which will endanger Bruno's life and all his plans.
