Seven films to compete for the 18th RTVE-Otra Mirada Award at the San Sebastian Festival
The jury is made up of former RTVE president Elena Sánchez Caballero, director Juana Macías and producer and programmer Paz Lázaro
José Luis Torres Leiva to open Horizontes Latinos and Celina Murga to close the section featuring the participation of filmmakers including Lola Arias, Juliana Rojas, Luis Ortega, Astrid Rondero & Fernanda Valadez, Mariana Rondón and Salvador del Solar
Also competing for the Horizontes Award, coming with 35,000 euros, are Ana Endara, Federico Luis, Yennifer Uribe Alzate, Iair Said, Sofía Paloma Gómez & Camilo Becerra and Nele Wohlatz
Iciar Bollain, Pilar Palomero, Albert Serra and the debut of Pedro Martín-Calero to compete for the Golden Shell at the 72nd edition of the San Sebastian Festival

The series 'La Mesías', by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo, will screen in the Official Selection out of competition, while 'They Shot the Piano Player', by Fernando Trueba and Javier Mariscal, will have a Special Screening, also as part of the Official Selection
'La estrella azul', the second film by Javier Macipe, has been selected for New Directors
