El repartidor está en camino (Riders) is a film about the boys who work for delivery apps. The narration swings from the general to the particular. We start with a look at the empty city during the lockdown, taken over by delivery boys, most of them Venezuelan. We even focus on one in particular, Joel, and portray his life as an immigrant in the big city. In the second part, through Joel’s contacts, family and friends, we move to Venezuela to show the world of delivery boys at the other end of South America. Venezuela as a source of origen for the majority of the delivery boys who work in Buenos Aires.
