Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).

The Dunia Ayaso Award, with 5,000 euros, goes to the film which, as well as its cinematic value, either has female characters in the lead parts of the story or portrays the situation of women in society. Films that extend beyond the stereotypes and commonplace attitudes which so often give a false image of the reality of women, their possibilities and their historical memory. The award is conceived as a homage to the director from the Canary Islands, Dunia Ayaso, who died in 2014.A jury made up of professionals from the audiovisual sector will select the winning film.
