San Sebastián Town Council, the EUSKALBIDEO video shop and the San Sebastián Film Festival have presented a new activity today that aims to encourage people to watch films in Basque in households in San Sebastián.
DURATION OF THE ACTIVITY:
From the 30th of June to the 31st of December.
ACTIVITY:
- Anyone will be able to buy a membership card for 1€ at the EUSKALBIDEO video shop.
- Each card entitles you to rent as many films as you like, dubbed or subtitled in Basque, until the end of the year, for 0.50 € per rented film.
- You can consult the list of available films on the video-shop web page www.euskalbideo.com or in the video shop itself where the films will be available and on display.
SPECIAL OFFER:
Members who rent 10 or more films before the 1st of September will be entitled to a free ticket for the 62nd San Sebastián Film Festival that will be valid for all the cinemas and all the screenings at the Festival except for the Velodrome and the Galas at the Kursaal Centre– Official Section.
At the end of July and August 4 vouchers for 10 films will be raffled among members who have rented any films.
SUMMARY:
- 133 films are available, subtitled or dubbed into Basque.

- Price of renting each film: 0.50 €
