You can book your tickets in the “Passholder tickets” section of the Festival website or by going directly to ssiffacreditados.janto.es. You can consult the step-by-step guide to booking tickets in this PDF.
Your personal access details will be sent to the user email associated to your accreditation on September 12th (September 10th if you have a preferential access accreditation).
If you don’t receive them, please contact the department responsible for managing your accreditation, our team will be happy to help you.
Your booked tickets will be sent to the email associated to your accreditation. However, should you wish to change your access address, you can do it by writing to the department responsible for your accreditation formalities. However, please remember that this will take time and that you will lose any bookings made prior to the change. We therefore recommend that you make any required changes to your credentials before starting to make bookings.
Your access code is the one you received a day before the ticket booking start date and cannot be changed. You can also consult said code by scanning the QR code on your accreditation.
From September 13th at 9:00 (or from September 11th if you have a preferential access accreditation).
You will be able to book tickets online for any sessions until the beginning of the session, as long as there is availability.
From Thursday September 19th onwards you can book tickets at the Ticket Desks on the lower ground floor of the Kursaal Centre (08:00-20:00, Saturday 28th until 14:00), where our staff will be happy to help you.
You can book for all screenings you plan to attend, with the exception of:
-Afternoon and evening official screenings of films in the Perlak section at the Victoria Eugenia, in all cases.
-Opening, closing and Donostia Award galas at the Kursaal 1 depending on your accreditation type.
You can consult the terms of your accreditation in the “My Festival” section of the Festival website, by clicking on ‘What I get with my pass’.
Once you have made your online booking, your tickets, which will be numbered (except for the Velodrome), are registered in your accreditation, meaning that you can enter the cinema simply by showing your pass. You will only have to show your ticket once inside the cinema so that the Festival ushers may show you to your seat.
The ticket will be sent to the email associated to the ticket booking system, from where you should download it onto your personal device. You can also consult all tickets associated to your accreditation by clicking on ‘My tickets’ on the website and downloading the Home Ticket PDF whenever you wish. You have the option to sort your tickets (by date, time, title...) and perform searches.
The system won’t allow you to book tickets for screenings taking place at the same time as another booking. In order for the screenings not to be considered as overlapping, there must be a minimum time of 10 minutes between the end of one screening and the start of another.
No, the system won’t let you book two tickets for the same screening.
You only need one ticket for screenings including more than one screening.
If for any reason you decide not to go to a screening for which you have a ticket, you must cancel your booking as soon as possible through the system. In any case, try to cancel it no later than 30 minutes before the start of the screening, so that other accreditation holders have the opportunity to access the screening.
To cancel a ticket you should go to ‘My tickets’ on the ticket booking website, bring up your list of tickets and press the wastepaper basket icon appearing immediately beside the ticket you wish to cancel. A confirmation message will appear and the cancelled tickets will disappear from the list and will be added to the ‘Cancellations’ section, where you will be able to consult all your cancelled tickets. If you need assistance, staff at the ticket desks on the lower floor of the Kursaal (Zinemaldi Plaza) will be happy to help.
Remember that not cancelling means that other accredited guests and members of the public may miss out. The Festival therefore reserves the right to cancel your tickets for all other screenings.
If you can’t come to the Festival and have already booked tickets, cancel them as soon as possible or inform the department responsible for managing your accreditation so that they can make them available to other accredited guests.
A virtual waiting room will kick at times of high influx. It is important not to refresh the page, since this will delay your access to the website.

We recommend that you clear your web browser cache if you have problems. On the computer, you can quickly access the delete navigation data menu with the command Ctrl + Shift + Del. Then, in the 'Basic' tab, enter the time interval 'Last four weeks', select all options and click on 'Clear data'.

Yes, you need a ticket for all of the Festival screenings. You can book tickets in the ‘Passholder tickets’ section of the Festival website or directly on the website ssiffacreditados.janto.es. You can consult the step-by-step guide to booking tickets in this PDF.
Remember that new tickets may become available for the screenings you plan to attend.
In the case of films with presentation and discussion, the end time indicated in the session includes the duration of the presentation and the duration of the film, never the duration of the discussion. If you wish to stay for the discussion, please note that it will last a maximum of 20 minutes longer.
Sessions that include galas, conversations or just a presentation already include the duration of the talks in the end time.
Remember that tickets may become available at any time until the beginning of the screening, given that another accredited guest may have cancelled their booking.
Yes, your tickets are linked to and registered on your accreditation. You can access the cinema directly with the QR on your accreditation. However, given that the tickets are numbered, you will also need to have downloaded the Home Ticket so that the ushers can show you to your seat.
The exact start time of the screening is indicated on your ticket. To ensure that the screenings can proceed at the programmed time, you should make your way to the Kursaal 1, Kursaal 2, Victoria Eugenia Theatre and Principal Theatre 30 minutes beforehand and 15 minutes beforehand in the case of all other cinemas.
Please respect these times. Under no circumstances will you be allowed into the cinema once a screening has started.
It is very important in the event of being unable to attend a screening that you cancel it as soon as possible and no later than 30 minutes before the start of the screening, so that other accreditation holders have the opportunity to access the screening.
Remember that not cancelling means that other accredited guests and members of the public may miss out. The Festival therefore reserves the right to cancel your tickets for all other screenings.
Book the tickets using the ticket booking system. Once you have the tickets, send an email to taquillazp@sansebastianfestival.com and ask for your tickets to be exchanged for others enabling access to a seat for people with reduced mobility.
