Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
On Saturday June 22, a public seminar co-organized by the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, EQZE and the Festival will be held at Tabakalera under the title Studying the Festival: José Ángel Herrero-Velarde Research Grants, to disseminate the work carried out by Artxiboa.
From 5 p.m. in the afternoon, the Tabakalera cinema hall will host a seminar in which the results of the research promoted by the José Ángel Herrero-Velarde grants will be socialized, also for the first time. Irati Crespo, Artxiboa coordinator, will introduce the presentations by Felipe Cabrerizo, Neus Sabaté and Endika Rey, who will talk respectively about the film production of the countries of the socialist orbit at the Festival, the reunion in San Sebastian of Josefina Molina, Pilar Miró and Cecilia Bartolomé, and the relationship of the event with feature films by new filmmakers. In their presentations the speakers will use previously unpublished documentation from the Festival archive. Admission is free until full capacity is reached, but invitations must be requested through the website or at the Tabakalera information point.
