Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
The non-binary American filmmaker, writer and curator presents their second feature film, I Saw the TV Glow, in Zabaltegi-Tabakalera, three years after showing their debut feature We're All Going to the World's Fair at the Sundance Festival. Already at that time they were hailed as a new voice on the independent film scene in their country. In this conversation, Schoenbrun will share the details of their creative process, their transition from film school to the world of work, as well as the universe that surrounds them and inspires their films.

Jane Schoenbrun (New York, USA. 1987) has directed the documentary A Self-Induced Hallucination (2018) and the feature films We’re All Going to the World’s Fair (2021) and I Saw the TV Glow, screened in the Midnight section of Sundance Festival and in the Panorama section of the Berlin Festival, among other events. They have also directed the TV show, The Eyeslicer (2017)
