Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Ashmita Guha Neogi (Calcutta, India) is a filmmaker based out of India. She graduated in Direction and Screenplay Writing from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, where she directed shorts like A Long Night (2016) and documentary, Tumchya Saathi Kaaye Pann (Anything For You, 2018) Her short film, CatDog, won the Grand Prix at the Cinefondation section of the Cannes International Film Festival and the Orona award at the NEST section of the San Sebastian International Film Festival in 2020. She has recently finished a medium length film titled Silan and is writing her first feature film. In 2021, she cofounded OffSeason Films, a Delhi based production house with a focus on European coproductions.
