Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Jorge, a young peasant, lives at the top of a mountain. Although the others in his generation have emigrated to the city, he has stayed behind to take care of the coffee plantation left to him by his father, while looking after his grandfather and dabbling in a love affair with his cousin Rosa. The village festivities are approaching and he anxiously looks forward to meeting Andrea, the former girlfriend he has been unable to forget despite the time and the distance. As the desire to see her again turns into an obsession, a silent plague invades the coffee trees. Once the celebrations are underway, amid the loud music and the hallucinations, Jorge will realise that the ties between them are no more and that staying in his land is an act of love and resistance.
