Audiovisual sound: from its origins until Full Immersive was the title of the masterclass given at the 68th San Sebastian Festival by Marc Orts, the head and creative director of sound at Deluxe Spain. He has won the Goya Award for Best Sound five times and has worked for directors such as J.A. Bayona, Pedro Almodóvar, Daniel Monzón or Jaume Balagueró. His talk looked at the evolution of sound technology and the process of creating a soundtrack depending on its reproduction format. The talk was part of the Zinemaldia & Technology initiative and it had the backing of Creative Europe MEDIA.
