Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Pucho (Madrid, 1979) has been singing and performing with the band Vetusta Morla since 1998, with which he has released five studio albums, two live recordings and the original soundtrack for the videogame Los ríos de Alice. He has worked closely with the filmmakers who have directed the group’s music videos, such as Juan Cavestany (La deriva), Eugenio Mira (Fiesta mayor), Nacho Vigalondo (Te lo digo a ti), Paula Ortiz (23 de junio) and Fernando Franco (Lo que te hace grande, El hombre del saco, Fuego, Deséame suerte). He has a diploma in Visual Arts from the Escuela Tracor and his passion for the cinema led him to programme film seasons and poster exhibitions in his adolescence. He has also been a guide at the ThyssenBornemisza National Museum on a tour for which he documented and explained the relationship of the works of art in the collection with filmmakers and film movements. Faithful follower of the Zinemaldia for the last nine years, he will visit the Festival for the tenth time as part of this jury, after his experience on other juries such as Filmadrid (2017), Gijon International Film Festival (2019) and the I Confinado de Cine Experimental Festival (2020).
