Carlos Rodríguez Ríos (La Seu d’Urgell, Spain. 1968) graduated in Information Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and has a post-graduate degree in Cultural Administration and Politics. In 1994 he was co-founder of the 100.000 Retinas film broadcasting company, an organisation dedicated to promoting cinema as culture. He has been a promotor and coordinator of the Cineambigú cycle, a weekly cinematic space offering the best international films without distribution in our country. For more than 10 years he co-directed the Barcelona Asian Film Festival – BAFF, and since 2010 is director of the film distribution company Noucinemart and of the D’A Film Festival Barcelona.
