Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Irati Crespo (Errenteria, Spain. 1996) is a graduate in Audiovisual Communication from Mondragon University. In 2019, she completed the Master’s course in Film Criticism organised by the magazine Caiman Cuadernos de Cine at the ECAM film school in Madrid. That same year she carried out programming work at the Indie & Doc Fest Cine Coreano festival, held at the Matadero Cultural Centre in Madrid. She has covered festivals including Filmadrid on the Caimán and Filmadrid websites and has written articles and reviews for the Macguffin007 website. She is currently taking a post-graduate degree in Curating at the Elias Querejeta Zine Eskola, where she participates in the research project Zinemaldia 70. She collaborates with the Kresala Film Club and is content editor at the distribution and production company, Vitrine Filmes, with which she curated a complete retrospective dedicated to the Brazilian filmmaker Kleber Mendonça Filho in 2020. Her master graduation project researches the theoretical legacy of the experimental filmmaker Barbara Hammer as a result of some recently discovered texts.
