The transgressive Swedish cinematographer Lisabi Fridell is at the Festival to form part of the Official Jury. When she’s judging a film she says that she likes to look at all its aspects and not just the photography.
As for what her point of view can add to a jury, she thinks that it could be her feminist perspective. She doesn’t like work that looks too traditional and overprofessional, but wants to see films that she can find inspiration in. When she works on a project she likes to work closely with the director so she can come up with ideas and influence the entire process right from the beginning.
