Z365" or "Festival all year round" is the new strategic point of the Festival in which converge investigation, accompaniment and development of new talents (Ikusmira Berriak, Nest); training and cinematic knowledge transfer (Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Zinemaldia + Plus, Filmmakers' dialogue); and investigation, disclosure and cinematic thought (Z70 project, Thought and Discussion and Research and publications).
Olga Cruz is a movie hair stylist and has more than 50 national and international projects on her curriculum. In 2018 she won the Goya for Best Makeup and Hairstyles for her work in the film Handia, recipient of the Special Jury Prize in San Sebastian. She is a revamper of hair, wigs and all kinds of objects, a baker, occasional thief of wild flowers and left-handed. She studied hairdressing and later makeup in San Sebastian. She started working for her mother, had her own business and learned heaps from her stints over several years on different programmes and series for EiTB. In 2004 she succeeded, finally, in participating in a feature film and since then, has almost exclusively worked on hair styling in the world of film. As a movie technician she loves the creative side of looking for and designing characters, the workshop slog of preparing wigs, hairpieces and all sorts of tricks for taking them to the heads of actresses and actors, and the teamwork with other departments. As a spectator she is a huge consumer of all kinds of films, since sitting down to watch a good movie is one of the things she enjoys most.
